Former Houston Texans coach — and pro football royalty — Wade Phillips is looking to trade his Preston Hollow estate to another team: His mansion at 6115 Norway Rd. has hit the market for $2.95 million.

The 8,742-square-foot home features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, three living rooms, a three-car garage, and a den. Amenities include a guesthouse, a swimming pool, a gazebo, five wood-burning fireplaces, a cathedral ceiling in the formal living room, and a beamed ceiling in the den and kitchen.

Bonus: The backyard offers access to the outdoor sports facilities at the prestigious St. Mark’s School of Texas.

Dallas’ Ryan Osborne built the Hill Country-style home in 2006. It sits on a nearly half-acre lot.

Interested in buying the estate? Interested in just seeing where Phillips once lived? An open house is set for 2-4 pm Sunday, January 28.

Dallas real estate agents Allie Beth Allman and Steven Rosenthal, both of Allie Beth Allman & Associates, have the listing.

Phillips, a 70-year-old Houston-area native and son of legendary NFL coach Bum Phillips, was head coach of the Cowboys from 2007 to 2010. Current coach Jason Garrett replaced him.

Phillips returned to the Houston area as the Houston Texans defensive coordinator and coached there from 2011 to 2013. He also served as the Texans interim head coach, when Gary Kubiak (then the Texans head coach) took a medical leave of absence. Phillips is now defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams.

According to Realtor.com, Phillips tried to sell the home in January 2014 for the same price. He bought the property in May 2007, shortly after he replaced Bill Parcells as head coach of the Cowboys.
